Legendary steakhouse Bern's is located in the heart of south Tampa, while the Spanish-inspired Columbia Restaurant is minutes away in Ybor City. The SoHo (South Howard Avenue) district offers a multitude of bars and restaurants to fit almost any preference.

Getting around South Tampa

Those who call south Tampa home also enjoy easy access to the city's main corridors. Minutes from I-275, Dale Mabry, and I-4, south Tampa is also close to the Crosstown Expressway and Tampa International Airport. South Tampa apartments are relatively close to Brandon and Clearwater.

City bus lines run through south Tampa pretty regularly, making public transit a viable option during the week. On the weekends, many younger residents choose to hit SoHo via taxi, which requires only modest fare.
