What is there to do in Clearwater?

Clearwater is the smallest of the three cities in the Bay area, but there is by no means any shortage of entertainment in the area. The beaches, downtown Clearwater, and nearby Safety Harbor all are filled with restaurants, shops, and bars. Pier 60 is a major tourist attraction, and an area where many students flock to during Spring Break and the summer. For many locals, Pier 60 is too "touristy", and they prefer the areas of Sand Key or some beaches further South. The area around the Pier has a mixture of high rise condos, luxury hotels, smaller motels, rentals, restaurants, and bars. The Venue is a large trendy nightclub located on Ulmerton Road, and draws in young professionals and students in the area.
