The University of South Florida has a home in the St. Petersburg area, focusing on the arts and Mass communication. The campus area is much smaller than its home based campus in Tampa and is more congruent to a laid back lifestyle. St. Petersburg college, most infamously known in the area, offers four year degrees from Nursing to Business. The college has nearly doubled in growth over the last few years and its general studies have gained attention nation wide. Eckerd College and Argosy offer general studies as well as Graduate degrees. These schools are much smaller than your State University and offer more hands-on training and personal attention from your professors. Stetson University College of Law is located in the heart of St. Petersburg and offers authentic Spanish architecture with a community of supporters.
