Clearwater apartments are located in the heart of the Bay area's tourism center. From camping to extreme sports, shopping and dinning, the costal city is surely to keep you entertained throughout your stay.

For obvious reasons, many Florida residents tend to spend a bulk of their time outdoors. As a result, the city of Clearwater has developed many outdoor entertainments to compliment the Florida lifestyle.

If you love to take trips to the beach, there is plenty to do near the water. Aside from grabbing an umbrella and chair to relax on, the town offers handfuls of activity and watersports to partake in near your Clearwater apartment.  Favorite attractions in town are paddle boarding, jet skiing and parasailing. Flight excursions have also become popular and are offered each and every day. These excursion allow you to take a flight on a small Cessna aircraft and explore the views of the Gulf of Mexico. Kite boarding is another hobby many locals have picked up. This adventure seeking sport has merged surfing, kite boarding and parasailing. For calmer activities, rentals of kayaks and paddleboards are also offered.

Of course, located on the shores of the beaches just near Clearwater apartments are fishing, boating and lots of volleyball. There are a number of fishing charters and party boats that leave the pier at all times of the day. The boardwalk of Pier 60 provides plenty of room for roller blading, jogging, and site seeing. Staying true to the outdoors, this town also provides several different camping sites along the shore. Fort Desoto allows residents to camp throughout the night and also comes equipped with public bathrooms. It is also one of the top ranked beaches in the country and offers kayaking, hiking and explorations of its five different islands.

There is also several shopping plazas in and throughout the Clearwater beach area. Although most of these include boutiques and specialty surf shops, there are several malls within twenty to thirty minutes from the coast. If you are a foodie, Clearwater is a great fit for you.  There are several wineries, fine dines and hole in the wall favorites. At night, the beach life tends to calm and the nightlife turns up. There are handfuls of bars and clubs in the area, a fan favorite being Shephard's Night Club.

Whether you are visitor or new resident to the city, you will quickly find that there is plenty to do in the Pinellas County city. Aside from the beach activities, the town is also filled with nightlife entertainment, shopping and dinning.
