Pet-friendly apartments are becoming more and more common, but there are still apartments that will not allow those furry creatures. You're in luck, because complexes are more likely to accept cats than dogs. One thing to be careful of is that many neighborhoods may charge you additional fees for a pet. This will cover additional cleaning that may be needed when you move out. While there are few restrictions on cats (they all tend to be about the same size) there are restrictions on dog breeds and sizes, so if you decide to get a canine friend for your cat, be sure to check with your apartment complex for any rules they may have.
