If you’re in the mood for something top forty there’s an abundance of venues near Tampa apartments that you can visit to satisfy your top forty cravings! You can catch a show at the St. Pete Times Forum where they’ve showcased artists such as; Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga. Tampa is also home of the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre that tends to bring in large musical acts. But don’t forget to bring some water if you come to see a show in the summer time! As it’s Tampa’s largest outdoor concert only venue. You can leave the parking money at home though. They are one of the rare venues that include the price of parking in the ticket. Minutes away from many apartments you can catch big named celebrities at Tropicana Field. You may have heard of it as it’s home to the Tampa Bay Rays but doubles as a successful concert venue.
If top forty isn’t your thing there’s no need to worry. Many music venues nearby cater to smaller, more intimate shows as well. Head on down to The Ritz Ybor built in 1917. It boasts a rich history of mostly lesser known acts (Definitely not lesser in quality!) However, they don’t only cater to indie bands. You can find events such as The Maxim Super Bowl Party hosted at The Ritz as well. You might also want to visit the State Theatre if you’re looking for some indie music. The venue holds only 705 people making it the perfect place to see your favorite indie band in an intimate setting.
Many music venues in the area are also hosts to great bars. If you’re looking for a nice beer to go hand in hand with your favorite band then you’re in luck! The Orpheum offers a full bar and low ticket prices, always bringing the customers back for more. Live music at the Hard Rock Café is always entertaining when visiting one of their multiple bars on location.
Tampa is an epicenter for great live music. You’ll never need to travel far to fulfill your craving for your favorite artist. No matter what kind of genre of music you listen to you’re bound to find a venue to suit your needs. Most are just minutes away from home!
