Apartments at Bell Channelside are just minutes away from all the restaurants, shops and nightlife that SoHo has to offer!

One of the best parts, and scariest, about moving to a new city is having a whole new area to explore. Luckily for you, there is plenty to do and see near apartments in Tampa. There really is something for everyone in this city. Your Tampa apartment is close to the city and the beach, so you won't have to worry about sacrificing one for the other. It seems like there is always some festival or party going on in Tampa. Outside of school and studying, you won't have to worry about trying to find something to do.

SoHo

SoHo, or South Howard, has some of the best restaurants in Tampa. Not to mention some of the best shopping and nightlife. If your Tampa apartment is in this neighborhood, you will quickly come to find that you are in a prime spot. The famous Bern's Steak House calls this area home. This one of a kind restaurant has one of the largest wine selections in the world and an internationally famous dessert room. Check out the Cask restaurant for an amazing brunch! Hyde Park Village, also located in SoHo, is filled with boutiques of all kinds. The perfect area to get some retail therapy. There are plenty of places in SoHo to enjoy the nightlife. Stop for some libations at EDGE Rooftop Cocktail Lounge, located in the Epicurean Hotel. This neighborhood ends at Bay Shore Blvd. Just as the name implies, it is a road that travels along the Tampa Bay. This is a great place for an evening sunset walk or a awesome spectating spot for the annual Gasparilla parade.

Ybor City

If you are looking to visit a place with some old Florida history, Ybor City is the place to visit. This magical city was founded in the late 1800s by cigar manufacturers. To this day you can stroll down many of the streets in Ybor and see people hand rolling cigars outside of shops. Many of the original buildings in this area have been refurbished into apartments. Looking for some great Italian food? Check out Bernini's, a local Ybor restaurant that is visited by both locals and people who are just passing through. If you want a more laid back atmosphere, check out James Joyce Irish Pub and Eatery! They have over 50 beers on tap, have lunch specials and you can even get a free birthday dinner. Centro Ybor has loads of entertainment, from local dining to the Improv Comedy Theater.

Downtown Tampa

Living in Downtown Tampa puts you moments away from some of the best entertainment Tampa has to offer. Catch a performance at the Straz Center or peruse the many different genres of art at the Tampa Museum of Art. The Amalie Arena is also located in downtown Tampa and home to the Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa's very own NHL team. This arena also hosts major concerts and even monster jam truck events. Not too far away from the arena is the Florida Aquarium, which is home to over 14,000 animals! If you are looking for something a bit more slow paced, take a stroll along the Tampa Riverwalk. It is two and a half miles in length and lined with beautiful murals. As if there isn't enough to do in this neighborhood, there are festivals that go on all throughout the year! Summer Fest, Beer Fest and Margarita Fest are just a few.
