The drive from St. Pete to Tampa is fairly easy, and depending on where you live in St. Pete, will take about 30-45 minutes. You have the option of taking I-275 and the Howard Franklin Bridge, or taking the Gandy bridge. Both are similar, but Gandy Bridge is further south of I-275. Depending on where you want to go, you can choose which route is better for you. Travelling to and from Clearwater and several other locations is made easy by way of US 19, which is a main road through St. Pete and Clearwater.
