What are some staycation options near Tampa apartments?

I get it. You're overworked; the stress of life is getting to you...it does sound like it's time for a vacation! However, when you're strapped for cash or just unable to travel far from home, planning a full-out vacation can be near impossible (and probably not very smart if you're trying to save money!) However, you are in luck, my friend; apartments in Tampa are near some of the most awesome "staycation" attractions in the entire state. Everything I mention here can be done in a day and won't require the purchase of a hotel room.

Tampa Bay Beaches

Probably the most obvious staycation option near Tampa apartments is one of the many beaches. The Tampa Bay area is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. All you have to do is pack your bags and head on over across the bridge to the pristine white sands of St. Pete Beach or Clearwater Beach. All along the coast there are several small, little gorgeous beaches that are perfect for laying out, relaxing and soaking up the Florida sun.

Visit Busch Gardens

Did you realize that residents of apartments in Tampa have a world-class amusement park right in their own backyards? Busch Gardens has everything that theme park enthusiasts dream of. Plus, if you purchase the annual pass, it only takes two visits before it pretty much pays for itself. With special events each year, like Howl-O-Scream, and great concerts, this theme park is a great place to take the family for a day of fun.

Tampa's Shopping, Dining, and Entertainment

If going to major amusement parks are not your style, there are plenty of fun, unique options for the perfect staycation near Tampa apartments. Many people just like to go shopping or dining at John's Pass, a shopping center with a fisherman's village theme. You can also rent Jet Skis and sign up for Parasailing while you're there. Many residents opt to visit some of the many small towns, such as Tarpon Springs. The sponge docks are quite the sight and the Greek food is delicious. Maybe you want to see a mermaid in real-life? If that's the case, then head down to Weeki Wachee Springs for the day and catch the live mermaid show. There truly is no shortage of unique staycation options in the area.

Besides all of the outdoor attractions, there are many museums and cultural events that will make your staycation near apartments in Tampa complete. The Florida Aquarium is a great place to take the entire family and to immerse yourself in an underwater world. The Tampa Theatre is a landmark historic movie house, showing classic Hollywood movies. The Dali Museum is just as beautiful to look at from the outside as it is the inside. Whatever your passion may be, there is sure to be a staycation option for everyone in Tampa to enjoy.
