I'm a new student at USF. What is there to do on and off campus?

Where can USF students meet up with friends and hang out on campus? USF is a sprawling campus. Many students report getting lost on campus because it is so large and has so many buildings. Students can socialize and study in this particular part of campus. In addition to eating establishments like Beef o' Brady's and Jamba juice the Marshall Center also has a computer lab, meeting rooms, study corners, and is located right next door to the campus bookstore. You'll have no problem finding the Marshall Center - it's centrally located and is a 10-minute walk or less from practically anywhere on campus.
Even the most dedicated students need some time off to unwind and enjoy some free time off campus. USF is located near what many students refer to as the 'hub' of North Tampa. University Mall, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, and dozens of chain and independent restaurants are located within a couple miles of many off campus apartments. If you are interested in getting some fresh air then several parks such as Hillsborough River State Park, Lettuce Lake Park, and Flatwoods are all just a short drive from the USF campus and surrounding off campus apartments.
