Centrally located in the Tampa Bay area is the beautiful locale of Town‘n'Country. There is a mixture of older communities and newer apartments or townhomes, providing something for anyone that is looking in the neighborhood. Residents attain the feeling of the suburbs, but are so close to the city that they don't have to travel far for anything they need. The area is close to a plethora of shopping centers, malls, airports, beaches, jobs, and schools.
Town 'n' Country Apartment Living
Apartments in Town ‘n' Country appeal to many residents because they are less costly than rentals found in nearby neighborhoods such as South Tampa, Westchase, or Citrus Park. The majority of the apartments are located along Memorial Highway, or Hillsborough Avenue. Both are central roads in taking residents to where they need to go, whether it is Tampa, Clearwater, or St. Pete. There are older communities, as the region is well-established, but there are several new complexes that have been recently built. Older complexes may have cheaper rent, but may have fewer amenities. Newly built apartments like Camden (where there are many young professionals) tend to have more amenities and newer appliances, which is something to pay attention to when looking for your new home.

Jobs in the district include several large, multinational corporations such as United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Capitol One. Smaller businesses and companies line Hillsborough Avenue and Memorial Highway. Nearby Tampa hosts major companies and industries. As a vibrant family community, you will find a host of school to choose from, and plenty to do outdoors. There are many schools to fit any family's desires, from public schools to private schools, to charter schools. Al Lopez Park provides nature walks and fishing piers to visitors.

If you'd like to venture a little further, nearby Westchase has a wealth of bars and restaurants, as does South Tampa. International Plaza, a major shopping center near the airport, is also just a short drive from the community.
Getting around Town 'n' Country
Some roads can get congested with traffic throughout the day, but there are several different routes to take to avoid some of the heavier traffic. The Veterans Expressway, I-4, I-275, and the bay bridges are very easily accessible from Town 'n' Country. The Veteran's Expressway is the most convenient and easy to get to, but is a toll road. If you are using this road to travel to work, it may cut off of your drive but add stress to your wallet. Nearby roads to use to avoid the Expressway would be Hillsborough Avenue, which can also take you to I-275, or nearby Memorial Highway, which will connect you to Kennedy Avenue in Tampa, or State Road 60 to head out to Clearwater. The HART bus line has various bus stops dotted throughout the area, making public transportation a great option for residents. These are the opinions of writers and not the opinions of RentTampaBay.com or any of our advertising partners.
