Are there places to live near Stetson Law?

Stetson University College of Law is located in Gulfport, just outside of St. Pete. However, many consider this small town to be a part of the St. Pete community. Just miles from the water, students who attend this law school are surrounded by plentiful opportunity when it comes to search for St. Pete apartments.

Stetson is just an exit away from Ft. Desoto Beach, one of the bay area's best beaches. It is close to downtown, Tropicana Field, and some of Pinellas County's best schools. So, where do you begin your search?

It really depends on preference. Is it the location of your new home that will dictate status amongst everything else? Or would you rather prefer space and luxury in your new unit? St. Pete apartments are intertwined in a mix of it all.

If you prefer to live near the Gulf beaches, apartments near St. Pete can vary in both ends of the spectrum stick. Meaning, there are smaller, older beach bungalow rentals and more newer hotel-esque dwellings. Older, yet well-maintained homes are going to be more readily available than newer and more modern floor plans. Although a recent burst of new buildings have been built in the last few years, these rentals go quick. Many tourist tend to snag them up for the winter and summer seasons. Additionally, they tend to be highly priced. In contrast, the older units are more affordable, closer to the beach, and are sometimes larger than most newer units. The downside to this may be smaller closet space and older appliances.

Stetson Law is just around the corner from downtown. This is great for those who love to be in the middle of a social environment. Here, you can expect to see high-rise living units, trendy bars and boutiques. Like most new homes, downtown living can come with a cost. However, keep in mind that this region is surrounded with convenience. Most things are walking distance and you can save on a good amount of gas. Living just on the outskirts of downtown can allow you to experience a slight relief in rental prices while still being able to enjoy the lifestyle of living in downtown.

Tropicana field is where most baseball fans hope to reside. Home of the Tampa Bay Rays, this stadium is just a few-minutes drive from the law school and has become a popular place to live. Favorite neighborhood bars such as Ferg's attracts many students to the area making it a quite lively place to live. Like most areas in the city, many homes are sporadic when it comes to discover the town's eclectic mix of new and old dwellings. This area can be highly affordable and a fun place to live.
